The TD Toronto Jazz Festival is proud to participate in the first ever Canadian Online Jazz Festival (COJAZZ). A national presentation of Canada’s top jazz talent, COJAZZ features contributions from over a dozen Festivals, coast to coast - a mix of live-streamed and pre-recorded concerts which will exhibit the full breadth and depth of Canada’s unique jazz tapestry. Cities represented by COJAZZ programming are Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara, Sudbury, Winnipeg, Regina, Saskatoon, Edmonton, Medicine Hat, Calgary, Fort Langley, Vancouver and Victoria.
The TD Toronto Jazz Festival contribution to COJAZZ, to be broadcast on Saturday November 14 at 7 pm EST, re-visits our TD Toronto Jazz Festival Summer Concert Series. Recorded live-to-air at JAZZ.FM91, the Summer Concert Series, presented by TD, ran for nine weeks in July and August, and featured some of Toronto’s top established and emerging artists. This special COJAZZ presentation includes performances from the Ted Quinlan Quartet, Jenie Thai, the Joanna Majoko Quartet, OKAN, the Joy Lapps Project, the Kirk MacDonald Generations Quartet featuring Virginia MacDonald and Donnybrook.
Tune in here, on Facebook or on YouTube to watch the show on Saturday, November 14 at 7 pm EST. And for complete COJAZZ details, including a schedule of performances, visit cojazz.ca.
